Who is ready for a fabulous Play-the-Recorder Month Collaboration? ME! The GFC of the ARS voted to play the Handel Canticorum Jubilo for this year's collaboration. The click track is ready and can be viewed here: https://mixcord.co/acapella/p/O0aMsOnFdhLeeq35lcgBPg/ Here are the "rules" for the collaboration: 1. choose two devices- one to listen on and one to record on. 2. listen (with headphones on) on one device and play along with the click track while recording yourself with the other device. 3. Please use mp4 format for video and mp3 format for audio only. 4. Once you are finished recording, upload your file to the google drive folder. HOWEVER, depending on how many people send in video, we may only use 1 of your videos. Rest assured ALL of your audios will make it into the mix. 6. ALL RECORDINGS ARE DUE SUNDAY MARCH 20th, 2022, the first day of spring! Yay! 7. What happens to the recordings? We will make two videos. The first will be a public play-along that will show the music. The second will be a private video with everyone's faces. You can share (or not) your face with anyone you choose. A NOTE ABOUT PARTS: This piece is very flexible. If you would like to play the 2nd soprano part as alto-up, please feel free to do so. If you would like to play the tenor on the alto part, that also will work perfectly. The part marked tenor is in the bass clef. Please feel free to play it on bass.
