In the Summer 2019 issue of the American Recorder Magazine, the authors briefly mentioned the Alexander Technique in conjunction with ARS' "Practice Project."The description of the technique and the range of what it can be used for hardly did it justice. At this meeting we will receive an introduction to the Alexander Technique. We will learn a little about F. M. Alexander and his work and how simple experiments can be applied to recorder playing and any other activity in ones' life.
